    Wellness tips

What to drink to help you have a good rest?

A comforting drink that can help you fall asleep is an infusion of chamomile and honey. Chamomile is known for its natural sedative properties, which can help you relax and fall asleep. Honey can add a touch of sweetness and has also been associated with sleep benefits. Here's a simple recipe:

    Ingredients:
1 teabag of chamomile tea or 1 teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers.
    1 cup of hot water.
    1 teaspoon honey (optional).
    Instructions:
Heat one cup of water in a kettle or microwave until almost boiling.
Place the chamomile tea bag or dried chamomile flowers in a cup.
Pour the hot water over the chamomile in the cup.
Cover the cup with a saucer or lid and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes to allow the chamomile to release its soothing properties.
If desired, add a teaspoon of honey to the cup and stir to sweeten the infusion. Honey can also have a calming effect.
Drink the chamomile tea slowly before going to bed. Make sure it is at a temperature you can tolerate.
